David and Ben surprised their dad with a new guitar....The Holy V!!! They were so excited and now Mike has an electric guitar to jam with his boys!
Adam was in awe with the color of his Easter egg!!
Ben loved decorating his Easter eggs!
Lily requested an Easter egg cake for her birthday.....hard to believe my baby is now 5! Where has the time gone???
David is growing up...he had to be convinced to join us with our decorating!
Ben was impressed to be outside in the snow and no jacket.
The princess!
One of Ben's favorite hobbies is carving...the project this week is a duck and it is amazing!
Lily wanted a woodworking project, too. Daddy made her a ladybug to decorate.
Tommy still thinks he is a lap dog.......a pretty big lap dog but a gentle one!
Adam and Lily keep Mike busy playing games. Adam would play them for hours at a time if someone would play with him.

Guess who loves to cook? I got tired of playing kitchen so Lily made her own breakfast instead.
Our little jumper!
Lily decided she wanted to learn to ride a two wheeler...no training wheels for my girl. She is so determined that it took only minutes and she had it down. Pretty scary....I wish she had just a little fear!!!
Adam turned 7 and had a fun party!!!
Ben doing a science project!
David playing his guitar!
Adam and his castle cake~
Dad's birthday~

ROBOTICS!!!

Both David and Ben have enjoyed the robotics club at school. David's team placed second in the district competition this year. They won $200 for the club, a backpack and a giftcard for Boston Pizza. David was very excited!!! His team worked hard and it showed. It is truly amazing what theses kids learn in this program. I think we may have a future engineer or two on our hands!!!!

Ben was dubbed the "mastermind" in his group! He did most of the programming on his group"s mindstorm. He was very proud of the finished piece ,although, a bit dissappointed to not have it quite finished. His group chose to help another group finish building theirs so they could at least have a robot to show their families which meant Ben's group didn't have enough time left to complete the programming. It was still very impressive!!!

DAVID ROCKS!!!

For Christmas, David got an electric guitar and amp. Mike has been teaching him a few songs and he practises everyday. David and his friend Mike get together to "jam" and get more pointers from Mike....I think David may be following Mike's footsteps and be addicted to guitars!!! Sure doesn't add to the quietness in our house but it does mask some of the other noise!!!!

WINTER FUN!!

Ben LOVES playing outside in the snow. He will build and shovel for hours all by himself if no one else is interested. His big thing right now is building igloos......not so safe when you're out there by yourself so I watch from the window!!!! Last week even Tommy, our dog, enjoyed Ben's master piece!!! Getting him out was a chore and a half but he just wants to be with the kids....inside an igloo or not!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID!!!! David turned 11 years old today! Where did the time go?? The best present for him was that school was cancelled because of the cold temperatures. We all went to Montanas for lunch...David wasn't thrilled when they showed up at our table to sing and with the moose horns for him to put on!
Ms. Lily received an EasyBake oven for Christmas from her granny. She LOVES it! We have never put so much work into making such tiny cookies!!! (no worries of weight gains this year!!!)

Adam got Marshan Matters for Christmas. The kids are having lots of fun creating little creatures!!!
Ben has started doing carving and whittling wood. he made his Grumpie a walking stick and it was amazing! I heard a rumour that he is now working on my birthday gift. I can't wait to see what he comes up with.
All the kids were in the pageant Christmas Eve at church. Adam was a sheperd, Ben a wiseman, and David was Joseph. Lily was meant to be an angel but was too shy to go up to the front with so many folks watching......As if she is shy; just good at pretending!
Lily's preschool made soup for the soup bus before Christmas. Lily loved cutting up the veggies!!! (better cutting veggies than her hair.......which she has now done 4 times. Her hairdresser has decided it might be a good idea if we grow out her bangs.......perhaps then we can tie it all back and it won't bother her. Personally, I think she just likes getting a rise out of her mom!!!)
She looks so innocent here....don't let that fool you! She is 90%pure joy and 10%mischief....we never know what she will be saying or doing next!
Here is Adam the night of his Christmas concert! He loves to sing and sure put his hert into his performance!!!
